She is 33 years old and on Medicare, even though my son works and has ins. We just found out she has had her 4th colonoscopy in 2 years. She had major back surgery 6 months ago and before that was being treated for numerous ailments. She is still taking heavy pain medication that we thought she would stop taking after the back surgery, she also sleeps all day and stays up most of the night, she eats junk food all night! Our son doesn't say anything, so we have just backed off & said we are sorry that she is not doing well. I am just afraid all this testing for non-secific things is going to kill her and our son would be devastated! We are not real close to her, it is hard to plan anything when she sleeps all day! This is just to vent I guess-if you have any suggestions, let me know!
