Donating Scrapbook Paper to Schools?

I've got scrapbook paper coming out of my you-know-where and am trying to figure out what to do with all the extra paper I know I won't use.

I have a niece who just moved to a very small town with her daughter (and both love it there) and I'm thinking of possibly donating it to my grand-niece's kindergarten class.

Has anyone ever done this? Do teachers welcome this kind of thing or not?
