The stove was the only place I felt safe to put the menorah. I am using a dobie pad but you might know of an easier way. Thank you for any suggestions.

Don't put the stove on. Wax sets fire over a certain temp. How about ice, like clothes?

ice cold putty knife
cleaning fluid or regular lighter fluid could remove residue......but I wouldn't recommend messing with those things........

edge of a credit card or those scraping things that Pampered Chef sells that is what I use.

Scrape with something that won't scratch stove. Then use Goo Gone;-))

Next year get the dripless candles, I didn't this year and regret it.

I think you'd want to first freeze the wax by placing ice cubes over it and then using a credit card to scrape the wax off. Good luck.
