Abaca Tree Collar

Isn't this clever? It takes the place of a tree skirt. It's from C & Barrel. It comes in galvanized steel and a shiny red also. It's called a tree collar.

I like this idea. I did see one similar on grandinroad for $49.

I saw one similar at Ballards. Since I am doing a table top tree I am going to purchase one.

I've seen them in catalogs and have been tempted to get one. I ended up buying a new tree skirt, though, so I guess I won't get it now. Very nice looking!

After tossing the tree, perhaps with strappy sandals, a finely woven rattan clutch, all while holding a Margarita, this collar would look stylish. Other than that, nah.

I'm going to go back to C & B this afternoon and pick this one up. We are doing a rustic tree in our family room, and this will look nice.
