The price of high end faucets and toilets!!!

Sweet mother of Bob Dylan, I am in sticker shock. I am remodeling Master Bedroom and Bath/ Our home is 1960's small. 1800 sq feet home, but tiny baths! I want faucets, sinks and such that are high end, well made and made in US( or Europe as a last resort I found a Toto toilet made here, 885 with tax. Toto makes toilets in factories all over the world, a few are made here. They are all the same price whether they are made here or abroad.

Faucets? A great, well made single valve faucet is at least 500 bucks .My faucet was almost the price of 2 Tory Burch handbags. Maybe a cheap Prada on sale and damaged. Don't mention sinks! LOL!

We decided we are not going to use the toilet and place it in the living room, next to the Japanese wood block painting. The faucet would actually look good on the coffee table, LOL!!

Anyone else remodeling after several years?

I told my husband about the new living room center piece you're adding and he said if it reclines and has a padded foot rest he wants to come visit!
