I just HAD to order another black one...(H202047)...BTW, it's on 4 EZ pays for those interested Wink

I have it in our livingroom now and DH keeps saying how rustic and realistic it is. I told him that I would like to have one for the kitchen and that hopefully someday they will make one with a cranberry red frame. He told me to just get another black one!

Well, he didn't have to tell me twice... ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$

LOL...well, DH likes all the decor I choose and the way I decorate, but this lantern is VERY impressive...worthy of 10+ stars. The quality is superb! So for DH to make mention of a decor item several times, it's an AWESOME piece!

To me, it reminds me of when we go to rather expensive tavern restaurants...like in Jackson Hole, WY, or like Yellowstone lodge by Old Faithful. It really gives our home a warm and cozy feeling...especially great addition for Fall and Winter decor. I plan to keep ours out all year long. Yes, we like them that much!!!

Yes, it was a pain to cut the cardboard on the inside without damaging the flame, but I 'get' why it was packed that way. I found by laying the lantern down on the carpeted floor (so the lantern didn't slide around as I cut the cardboard) and using a box cutter about 2" above the flame and slowly turning the cardboard as I cut it, pulling back on the bottom 1/2 as I spun it, it worked well. When I finished cutting all the way through, I pushed the top 1/2 of the cardboard back enough so the cardboard around the flame could be removed easily. When that was out of the lantern, it was nothing to remove the top half.
