I use flannel sheets in the winter but, I am now wondering about the Polar Fleece Sheets. How do these compare to flannel sheets? Are they warmer?
In my opinion the Malden Mills sheets are way nicer, softer, better made than any flannel sheets I have.My flannel sheets are now out in the camp trailer.
I've never been too impressed with flannel sheets, but I have used them. I triedQ's Malden polar fleece sheets for the first time this year. I immediately ordered two more sets. Even my husband loves them.
Think of a baby's velvety soft skin. They're easy care and never seem to wrinkle.
Nobody puts baby in the corner.
I like them both. I wish they'd stop coming out with new things, ha, ha. Got into flannel sheets and then flannel duvet covers, then got a couple white down comforters and then pink ones came out and had to have them, now the microfleece is here and I had to get that, ha, ha. I only pray I never see a pink and white striped oversized flannel CalKing duvet cover or I'm a goner!
Micro fleece is so much softer than flannel that they don't even compare.
I will tell you my experience. We were flannel people every winter, that is until last year when I couldn't resist the temptation to buy the Malden mills polar sheets. Let me tell you, flannel will not cover my bed again! Oh the polar fleece is so soft, warm but regulates your body temp so you don't over heat. From the moment you get in you don't want to get out. They truly are better. Just try for yourself.
I still love my flannel sheets. I have a lovely set on my bed now. I do have a set of the Malden Mills sheets that I got last year and like them too, but I can't say I prefer them over the flannel.
Don't care for flannel sheets.

Flannel sheets remind me of cardboard. Fleece sheets are lighter in weight and so much softer.
