Duraflame noise, Is this normal?

Just received one of 2 TSV's I ordered, cream and blue. The cream arrived today and is a lovely tone. I do like the screen with side views.

My question is: during the presentation the host and the duraflame rep went over to the grouping of heaters and made a point of saying they made no noise, even leaning in so their mic's could pick up any noise which there was none.

I'm wondering if the heat was off because when I turn my heat on there is a noise which sounds like a blow dryer on low, not as loud as a blow dryer. Definite blowing sound. Is this normal?
