I just noticed this new two hour show will be on this afternoon from 3-5 p.m. eastern time. Wonder if there will be any brand new items. Smile

I didn't watch the show but checked the review of items presented. Looks like there was around 4 new items. The only thing that interested me was the kinetic wind spinner by Plow & Hearth. I thought it was too expensive after s&h, though. Then, I went to Amazon and found one I liked even more, but it was around $250!!! These look really cool but I had no idea they were so expensive!

I noticed that a new Home Reflections Coastal Luminary, H199846, was presented early yesterday morning.

Hi SHOPR, I didn't see anything that interested me either which is probably a good thing as I really don't need anything right now. Of course, I've never let that stop me before. Smile

I've seen that spinner and it does look very nice but the price would make me pause too. Before I plunk down that kind of money, I'd want to know if it's well made and will last for years so I'd read the reviews to see what the customers are saying and then decide. In fact, I always do that now before I order anything.

I've had my eye on the Plow and Hearth Solar Garden Boy Statue. It's holding a flashlight and a little frog. It is so darling and there is also a girl statue holding some fireworks--that one is equally darling. However, each one is $49.00 and with the cost of s&h, I'd be paying over $50.00. I might consider ordering it if I see some 5 star reviews but so far I've not seen a single review for this item.

Baylor Fan, I hope it's a winner for you if you ordered the statue. I think it's really cute, and different, the way the flashlight shines on the frog.

Hi SHOPR, the other day I was out at Lowe's looking around the garden center when I just happened to see a kinetic wind spinner on display. It was similar to the one from Plow and Hearth and the price on it was $39.98. There are two listed on the website and one of them got a nice review. Maybe if you and Nonie Lee happen to go by a Lowe's, you might want to see if they have one on display to see if it's something you might like. Smile

I went ahead and ordered the statue from the Plow and Hearth website. I also noticed they had a little bird feeder that I had wanted to order from the Jackson and Perkins website...exact same one and the same price. So I ordered it too from P & H and that put me over $50.00, making me eligible for free shipping with a code I found online, plus no taxes! Made me a very happer camper. I can't wait to get my order! This all thanks to you, SHOPR, I appreciate your help! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Baylor Fan.....Thanks on the info on Lowe's. I am planning on stopping there this week for a few more flowering plants, so I will definitely check out the spinner.

Plow and Hearth is the best one I've seen. They have some really nice things in their outlet section and if you spend $50.00 or more you can get free shipping with this coupon code: PHLWC (for a limited time, not sure when it expires).

Hi again, Baylor Fan. Thanks for the tip to try Lowe's for the spinners. I was in there a week or so ago and there were none, which isn't a surprise since my store never has any good stuff. I will try to check again soon, because I'd like to inspect this type of spinner up close to be sure they look and work like I imagine. Enjoy your Plow and Hearth items.

Smile

I live in my summer home fall, winter & spring too!

Life is like a snowstorm...you'll meet a lot of flakes.

My summer home is dry. We're under water restrictions which really impact gardening and fountain-gazing activities!Oh sure, we get creative with plants and soaker/drip lines so that we can keep stuff alive, but no new plantings are allowed AND we can't run fountains. Although I use gray water for those as much as possible...And the neighborhood snitch lines ensure you look over your shoulder for the water police.

So my summer home in DFW isn't much fun this year!
