New show: Hosts at Home

Started 1367498630.287 in For the Home Talk | Last reply 1368150464.74 by ennui

Morning ladies, I just saw they are having new shows next week Tuesday through Friday called Hosts at Home. Some of the hosts favorite home products are going to be shown along with inside views of some of the hosts homes...I saw Dan Hughes, Carolyn's, and Jane Tracey's homes. Looks like a fun few days on home decor..just wanted to pass it on.

Have a great day!

Yes, I saw this, bopper! I looked at the Jane Treacy sequence but didn't see the others. I'll be tuning in. I love to look at the way people decorate their homes. It'll be a nice change in the programming line-up.

I will be watching, love to peek into other's homes!

And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.

Will this fascination with the rich and famous ever end?

I imagine their homes are all probably very lovely!!

I saw pictures a few years ago of Lisa R's house in the Insider. It was beautiful. She has excellent taste in home decor!

I have a natural fascination with houses, in fact, I spent 36 years as a real estate broker and have seen it all - from a teeny tiny 1 room bungalow w/small kitchen to some of the most beautiful mansions along the prestigious Navesink River in NJ so I jump at the chance to peek into anyone's house, including but not limited to the QVC hosts. I'm anxious to see their decorating styles. I see Carolyn (who I peg as a combo of traditional/country antique) on Tuesday, Marybeth (who I peg as Scandanavian Traditional - lots of whites, yellows and blues) on Wednesday and Dan (who I peg as country/farm house) on Thurday but I don't see Jane Treacy. Anybody know when Jane Tracey is on?

Thanks for the heads up, I would enjoy seeing them. I often drive by beautiful homes and wonder what they look like inside. I like home magazines also. There will probably be a few props to make them look better, but I will be looking forward to watching.

Hush, they are not the rich and famous, they are sales people. I love seeing how others decorate their homes. I wish I had become an interior decorator. I just love this stuff.

I'm thinking you're going to view the newest VPH in everyone's home and all currently available. Not one thing from a few seasons ago, of course. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Who cares where a salesperson lives? I'd rather they concentrate on improving quality, sizing, and delivery time. I could care less about their personal lives.

I'm not particularly interested in their personal lives, but like others, I enjoy seeing nicely decorated homes, regardless of whose they are. I'm not holding my breath for lots of great decor items though. QVC needs a home decorating infusion. It seems HSN is doing a lot more these days with decorative items.

I wasn't saying I care about their personal lives,,,I said,,,we get to see how they decorate their homes...it's about decorating not about their personal lives....why can't people just be nice.

That's me, too! I will catch it, if I remember.

Retired08: Seriously, they aren't famous(only on the Q), and I have no idea, nor do I care if they are rich or poor.

My hope is that if people can't say something nice about the host's homes, they don't say anything at all.

Does anyone know what time these shows will be on?

They will probably bring in a bunch of Q items and place them around their homes and film. After the segment, the truck pulls up and they will haul off the stuff.

They just did a make over for people in NJ who won a contest. They had landscapers and designers come in to fix up their backyard. I would guess they would make sure the Q hosts homes are spotless and yards spruced up and bring in a team to make it happen.

My guide says Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at 10am Eastern time for Carolyn, Mary Beth and Dan's homes. Also, at 6pm on Tuesday for Jane's.
