This product was airing earlier today on HSN. It looks great. Has anyone ever tried it? I ordered it but was wondering if anyone had any opinions on its effectiveness. Thanks! Becki

It will dissolve hair but not as fast as his demo. It also will ruin a garbage disposal but the instructions warn against this.. It is a good product although IMHO there are better.

Why will it ruin a garbage disposal?

I do not know the exact mechanism here but many drain cleaners will deteriorate the blades of the garbage disposal. Many times harsh chemicals can harm their pipes also.

Perhaps it is best to read the label instructions which I will partially quote "....Not for use in garbage disposals, dishwashers, nor toilets..."

I have learned a long time ago to follow manufacturers directions and typically that is for good reason and not doing so will void the warranty and create other complications.

HSN has sold this for years (although it is often out of stock) and I thought it used to get pretty good reviews, but the current duo doesn't seem to have very good reviews. Always been curious about this product.

Well they had to get rid of some of the vendors so we could have more computers or I-Pad TSV's seems like every week. I just wish the Q would change things up once in a while. It is getting boring. The only thing that is not boring is the forum boards. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}
