I like the 40's also, dig the shoulder pads. Men's suits were great in the 40's also.

I love the fashions from the 40's also!! This past weekend my siblings & I had to go through boxes of old photos that belonged to our parents. Our parents were married in 1943 and they & their friends & family were all dressed so stylish in every photo. Ladies in dresses, heels, hats & gloves and the men in suits & hats. We spent hours looking & loving those pictures. I couldn't stop looking at them. People really knew how to dress back then.

I agree. Born in the forties and I love it all.

I don't know anything about 40's fashion but the dress I wore to my daughter's wedding was similar to that dress. Not identical, of course. But my dress was blush color with a jacket and in that silhouette. I have a curvy figure and I think womanly bodies were in fashion in the 40's.

I love the 40s fashion also and have collected vintage clothing from this era. I would give anything if they would bring this all back. Such class back then.
