Pin striped suit just arrived

Beautiful suit and great fit. I got my usual Linea size and the fit was great. The petite pant is perfect. The jacket has room for a turtleneck. Not as close fitting as the brick red woven jacket which on me was fitted in the same size. Going back for a navy pant. Great suit for a great price.

I ordered the suit also, I'm between a 10-12 and ordered the 10 hoping it is not too small. I should get it on Friday. I carry my weight in the waist/hips. I may need a 12 in the pants.

Is the waist with elastic that is forgiving?

I ordered a 16. I get a medium in knit pants. The elastic in the back of the pant does have a few inches of give. I might have been able to get the 14 in the pant but I think it would be slightly snug. The 16 just flows from hip to hem as it should.
