just heard that carlos falchi has passed away.....may he rest in peace. he was 70 years old.

i have enjoyed his handbags and accessories and always liked when he was on hsn.

women's wear daily has a nice tribute article about him.

I love his designs & always looked forward to hearing him talk about them.

So sorry to hear this. I recently purchased his fatto a mano (hand-made) black satchel. It is superb. He had an eye for beauty and originality. A real loss.

I was aware of his handbags from HSN. I have watched his demo's from time to time.

So young to pass away at 70 - RIP - prayers for his friends and family and all that he mentored.

I used to buy his handbags years ago. I don't watch HSN and follow the people any more. He seemed like a really nice man and sad that he passed away. Had he been sick or was it sudden?

i had read that he had a ""brief illness"" so i am guessing it was kind of sudden or unexpected.
