Vintage reading glasses - Where can I buy?

I would love to get a pair of big framed reading glasses like Angela Lansbury wears on "Murder She Wrote". I hate these little thin readers they sell now. Anybody know where they are sold? Thanks in advance.

You could probably find some on ETSY.

Are they really reading glasses that she wears on the show? They look like regular glasses.

I don't think they were reading glasses, I think they were regular bifocal glasses.

I think so, too. Mine were like Bailey Quarters (!)

Those large frames were popular in the 80s and 90s. I recently donated all my old eyeglasses and several pairs were like that.

If you don't want to go to an optometrist for a custom pair (I had some computer glasses done in my reading prescription), you can Google large frame reading glasses and get some hits in various price ranges. Don't want to link one, as I can't vouch for them. Good luck!

@Kathleen - I had a pair of those tortoiseshell glasses in the 80's, too! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}
