Does anyone else think it strange that there are often 10,000 or so more "guests" online here than the 100+ members? Why do you think it is that the "guests" don't join and contribute to the forums?

Interesting question, so they can get in but they need a password to reply?

I've wondered that too. Does it mean that there are 10K ppl online with the Q, perhaps shopping, or does it mean they are here, viewing different forums? Although I am relatively new to the boards, (not new to QVC), I do notice many of the same posters at any one time.

I think if you are reading the forums but not signed in, you are considered a "guest". If you are signed in, you are a member. That's my take.

Probably because of all the mean spirited threads they read about in general, especially negative hateful posts about QVC hosts, which can be extremely hostile and ruthless.

That's what I've always thought too. Total number of people online vs. total people signed in to their accounts or the forums.

I think you all bring up good points
