Care to share?

I didn't venture out except for running an errand around 10:00 a.m. and was surprised the traffic was very light and as I drove by various retail areas, I noticed parking lots were not anywhere near full.

If the weather cooperates, I plan to support Small Business Saturday by visiting a few of my favorite shops. Even if I don't purchase much, I love chatting with locally owned and operated shop owners and finding a few unique gifts to put me in the holiday spirit.

What was your Black Friday experience? And please share your fashion finds!

No clothes here, but I did order these boots to keep the toes warm on duty.

lola, I like your new boots. In my area, definitely a NEED.

I did run to the grocery yesterday as they were having a Black Friday special--salmon normally $18.99 lb. for $6.99. I saw a fashionista sporting these Sorrell's. They could be in my future--they are cuter in person than what this picture portrays:

I know keeping a very light cream clean would be difficult, but I think that is what makes them unique to me.

I knew I was going to have a light, quiet day at work, so my intention was to get some things done, then head to Nordstroms online and shop for the rest of the day.

I was so mentally exhausted from Thanksgiving, I ended up doing something less taxing.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

I don't go near any malls on Black Friday. I did drive by a couple of big malls on my way to and from work yesterday and the parking lots weren't even full. Not like in past the when people fought over parking spaces and circled around for an hour before they lucked into one. The sales started days before, so I'm sure some shoppers didnt wait for Friday.

You know what they say, HonnyBrown, "the best laid plans..." As much as we enjoy shopping, it is not fun when we are neither physically nor mentally up for it.
