Everything GILI is on Four or Five Easy Pays........................

I have had my eye on the large croco Roma tote, waiting for it to be marked down. Instead, I noticed it was suddenly on Easy Pay. Seeing that, I checked a few other things in which I had some interest, and who knew?! The GILI inventory is nearly ALL on Easy Pay, except for one "as is" Bronzo watch and the faux leather zip front jacket from this fall that came in blue and fawn and black.

It looks like they are trying to move the inventory before the brand's standard bearer leaves the house. Personally, I don't think this bodes well for the continued existence of the line.

No. I like the chestnut croco, and it looks a little better in some of the later pictures, but I haven't caved yet. I just bought a used Brahmin, so I am trying to restrain myself and keep my handbag inventory low.

I've noticed a lot of things are on ez-pay these days. I think the QVC consumer is just tired of the same old/same stuff - money is tight - and all this mad dash for holiday gift giving just isn't working any more. My family has totally pulled back from the must give a gift to everybody and instead rethinking the real reason for Christmas.

Stores and sales are now a 'turn off'.

I have noticed that with the Joan Rivers items. Everything is on clearance from the shows I have seen. David said the line will continue. I really like David, could care less about GILI. Way over priced.
