Just Noticed the Christmas Trees in all the Shows...

I noticed the trees last week. Well, at least they didn't put presents under them yet. I don't think they put up the trees so early last year. Maybe this is a new trend?

At this point they should just leave them up year round

I noticed a tree with brown, orange, yellows, gold, ect - Fall color tree in the Kitchenaide demonstration. I thought it was very pretty and appropriate for a Kitchen.

It does make me sad to see Christmas decorations so early - 25 percent of the shopping year is considered Christmas Shopping Season. Sad.

Yep, the trees are now a permanent fixture until just a few days after Christmas, at least if last year is any indication.

I saw presents under the trees on Fashionably Early. It's just too early for me. How about November 1st?

My son noticed that this morning..I saw them last night! Hard to believe!

Most retailers have trees up already.

My beef is when they take them down so quickly. Most people I know leave their trees up till Jan. 2 or even later; it's jarring to see them disappear so abruptly after Dec. 25.

For the same reason I've never understood why QVC cuts off the holiday hype when it's no longer possible to ship by Dec. 25 -- many people continue to see friends and relatives across the holiday week and could quite likely order a gift on Dec. 22, receive it Dec. 28 and use it yet in the season. They could eke out a few more days if they would get more in tune with how people really function.
