Ring sizes, need help

I ordered a size ring, and the ring i ordered does not come in half sizes. the size 8 is too loose, i need some advise , does the rings seem to run big ? considering sending back this size 8 and ordering a 7. anyone else finding that the rings run big too?

If it's a band ring, the ring size needs to be a little larger. If the ring is open under the stone, you will need a smaller ring. Best to have it professionally sized because hands swell a little in the summer. You don't want to wash your hands later then have it "fly" off or come off in a glove. You might ask in the jewelry forum about a particular item.
