O/T Marc Fisher Heels: Is 2 3/4" a "kitten heel"?

I have always thought of a kitten heel as a thin heel one inch and up to about 2 1/2 inches at most. Past that point, your back has to arch and that's where a lot of women get back pain.

What is a kitten heel for you and what kind of heel do you wear?

I haven't worn heels in six years; however, to me a kitten heel would be 1-1.5 inches. Unlike cat heels at six inches. ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$

I wouldn't consider anything over 2"" a kitten heel.

love kitten heels.....if it is higher than 2 inches i generally dont consider them a kitten heel.

I wear usually 2""-1/2"" high heels. I prefer stacked heels and platforms. Easier on the foot. I have one pair of very tall suede boots (high end stuff) with 3"" heels. Very sexy and now too painful to wear for long periods of time. I rarely wear them anymore. Getting too old for this stuff!!!

Kitten heels (I rarely see them anyway) are little bitty heels about 1""-1 1/2"". Kind of goofy looking to tell you the truth. Too small and wobbly looking for my taste. Skip em and wear flats.

my favorites are 1,2, and 6.

for me they work well, they give me just enough height without having to do a high heel all the time.

A kitten heel is a short, slender heel, usually from 3.5 centimeters (1.5 inches) to 4.75 centimeters (1.75 inches) high with a slight curve setting the heel in from the edge of the shoe. The style was popularized by Audrey Hepburn.^[1]
