I hear ya, but I don't think it would work with the Roma style. The design is meant to be big and slouchy, and smaller bags can't pull off that design. Hang in there, if you desire a GILI bag I'm sure there will be something coming along with the pizzazz if the Roma for those who prefer a smaller style. In fact, a lovely rather small crossbody bag was previewed on PM Style this week. It will probably be on Lisa's Friday show on August 1.

I couldn't agree more! I am only 5 feet and the roma totes are like luggage to me!

From some of the reviews I've read the bag not only needs to be smaller ,but better quality. The price for the bag is right, but the quality is lacking, I would rather pay more and get a bag that doesn't need to be returned or repaired.
