Confusing Clearance

How can you have a Fall fashion clearance as advertised on the home page and

we aren't in fall yet, the fall fashions are just arriving

are they just trying to confuse me??

Is QVC advertising that? I imagine the fall clearance items might be from previous years... It could also be summer items on clearance to make room for fall items.

But it is probably anything they have had longer than a certain amount of time...
