What is your opinion of 95% cotton/5% spandex......not too much experience with this except for a couple of Danskin pieces.

Unless it has changed, there seem to be some fabrics that are soft and breathable that are poly/cotton blends and some that are rubbery. The ones I have tried are rubbery and cause me to sweat.

Most of the time I like the 95/5 fabric but there have been a couple items that it did seem too rubbery. I'm not sure why it would differ with the same 95/5 content but maybe it's the way it is processed.

Everything I buy now has to have spandex - it fits much better (I have gained 10 lbs) and I find that it is easier to care for also. I love the spandex!

It doesn't wrinkle like 100% cotton nor does it shrink. I find it to be very comfortable even in hot weather, and I live where it's hot!

Only in yoga pants for me personally, possibly a jacket, as I need 100% breathable fibers for health reasons.

But its 'stretchability' is nice for those who are OK with Lycra/spandex.
