What do you think?

They will now be selling jeans in 000 size, up to size 20.

It surprised me to hear that their sizing ran ""big.""

I always find their pencil skirts true to size...but their jeans seem to be TINY!

What reaction are you expecting, lol? Just as there are women who wear size 20 at J.Crew, I'm sure there are others who require a 000 at the other end of the spectrum.

Ridiculous. Laughable. A little sick.

These numbers don't mean anything. Just buy what fits.

I'm 50. I kept a skirt I used to wear when I was 17. A pretty wool skirt. While reorganizing the closet, I gave it to my daughter recently to try on. It fit her perfectly. She wears a size 4-6. The skirt was marked size 14!

Their new sizing is for Asian markets (read an article about this)

Saw the story on several news outlets...commentators were wanting to turn it into a 'it creates a body issue" story....but they can't. As a whole, the public is saying 'meh'...go for it. Don't see anything wrong.

Sizes have changed so much over the past 30 years. When I was in my 20's and skinny as can be, the smallest size I could fit myself into was a 5. Now, and 10 pounds heavier, I wear a size 2. I could have never fit a size 2 over my hips in the 80's. My mothers wedding gown is a size 10. I can barely zip it up. Mom also had a beautiful suit with a pencil skirt. It is a size 10 but fits like a modern size 2-4. I remember holding up size 0's in the store and they looked sooooo tiny. My sister wears a size 0. She's very slim but not tiny or petite. 0's used to look as if they were for 5 ft. 80 lb. girls with no hips. Vanity sizing sells.

Premium jeans have been sold by the waist size for years. They don't have any whole number size. The jeans start at 23"" (00) and on up.
