The Q never seems to have a real sale on fashions. I have some pieces that are currently on clearance for about $8 less than I paid for them, and that was two or three years ago. You would think they would want to move their merchandise like they do in retail stores.

The Gap, JJill, J Crew, Macy's L&T - they all have HUGE sales now.

I find the same thing. I don't even look at QVC very often anymore.

QVC clearance is usually 10% or less. yikes

Not only do the above mentioned stores have great sales so does Lord & Taylor, Kate Spade, Nordstrom & Neiman Marcus. I recently purchased a designer high end faux leather dress that normally sold for $400 for $69, a $500 Kate Spade bag from KS that normally sold for over $500 for $140, a $500 Kate Spade dress (that Pippa Middleton was photographed wearing) for $120 etc. I don't know why so many of you think you can't afford to shop at the high end stores. When they have sales they are amazing and you can get high end apparel, shoes & bags for less then the low quality that QVC sells not to mention that you don't have to pay for shipping. People need to educate themselves on how to shop and get more for your money.

All July apparel at the QVC outlets is 75% off the outlet price which is lower than on aIr price.

In my opinion, QVC doesn't mark anything down much including jewelry.

They've never really done true clearance pricing, in all the years I've watched them. I suspect if they did so, particularly in certain merchandise categories, the increase in sales volume would more than offset the deep price reductions.
