Did anyone see the QVC Isaac Mizrahi ad on TV?

I saw it last night on Destination America Channel 286, Buying the Bayou show. They were promoting the new Fri show and even showed a glimpse of Shawnie Sue. I'm assuming this ad has wider distribution than just this channel.

I used to work for a cable company and I can tell you how this works.

QVC "trades" with the cable company and they then run the ads on all the channels where they have room. This is especially popular in the first quarter of the year, when ads costs less than the 4Q and there is more room to run these trade spots.

I don't understand. terrier, what does QVC "trades" with the cable company mean? TIA
