In case anyone is interested I see that with Pam McCoy gone they have a new faux fur designer by the name of Donna Salyer her items look pretty nice and very good customer reviews; her store website has nice items too.

While I'm not interested in faux furs, it's nice to see that everything she designs is 100% faux. She isn't a furrier doing a line of faux just for ShopHQ like Basso is for QVC or Landau for HSN.

Thanks, LuvitorLIT. Does anyone know where Pamela McCoy landed?

donna salyer has been around (not on shophq) for a LONG time. i have bought a lot of her items from her FABULOUS FURS collection catalogs that i get several times a year. the quality is excellent. you can check out her items at fabulousfurs.com.

Vamp - I read somewhere on the Q boards that Pam McCoy is selling jewelry at another shopping channel.

sunshine45 - I read her bio and the reviews at ShopHQ are great. I'm not buying at this point because between Pamela McCoy, Dennis Basso and Terry Lewis I am well stocked.

Thanks for posting! I'm always interested in a good faux - I'll look her up!

californiamomofthree - I never heard of her but I read her bio and as sunshine45 posted she has been around for a long time; so maybe you will see something you like.

I'm glad that ShopHQ aka Shopnbc not only filled the void that Pamela McCoy had on lock for so many years but they have someone with a good rep and very good items based on the reviews.

She's on Jewelry Television with a jewelry line. I never have seen her though. I don't watch that channel much.

Her website name is rather misleading, just looking at the name because once you get to it, it has a paw print and states 100% faux. I wouldn't guess that from the name of her website.

She's a jewelry vendor on Jtv but I think her faux fur and fashion lines are gone for good.

Indeed, the Fabulous Furs catalog and website have been around for many years. Great faux fur products but they were a little pricey. I remember buying my girls gorgeous white mink muffs and headbands to wear with their velvet dresses when they were junior bridesmaids in friend's wedding.

Beginning in 1989 in the basement of her Cincinnati home, Donna has grown Fabulous-Furs into a multi-channel company operating through catalog, Internet, retail and wholesale. Though primarily a catalog, Fabulous-Furs are sold in fine boutiques, hotels and casinos throughout the country, as well as by retail giant ShopHQ, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.

Fabulous-Furs have appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Today Show, Miss USA/Universe, The View, CSI Las Vegas, Gossip Girl and many other TV shows. Donna has been profiled in People Magazine and twice in the Wall Street Journal and honored with the Northern Kentucky Chamber’s Image Maker Award. Besides a Fabulous-Furs showroom at 11th & Madison in Covington, Donna Salyers’ Fabulous-Bridal at 6th & Madison anchors the Covington Wedding District.

For 17 years, Donna wrote a syndicated newspaper column which led to a video series, a national cable TV show and eight books. She and her husband reside in Villa Hills, KY, thrilled that their two married children and four grandchildren live happily nearby.

I was surprised that she went to being a jewelry vendor because her fashions were beautiful I have a closetful of her items. I heard she lost the rights or something like that to the Tissavel brand that she was using for her faux furs.
