No Denim & Co. again looks like.

I totally agree. I am soooo sick of "Christmas Shopping" since it has gone on since July 25th. I seldom watch QVC anymore but do like to catch the D&C shows when possible. I am hardly ever home on Tuesday mornings but I am today and screamed when I saw the schedule change.

Back to HSN and ShopHQ. Got in on some really good buys from them over the weekend - love those Value and Flex pays they offer on just about everything.

I'm beginning to think the C in QVC stands for Christmas....year round!{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown} Stop the madness.

We're all creatures of habit and I got in habit of having Carolyn on while I'm in kitchen or elsewhere cleaning and now we got car tools and house ge gaws that you get out once a yr.I have to search around the guide to see when D& Co. will be on again I guess and probably will be hosted by somebody else, instead of Carolyn.

silky: you crack me up! Exactly what I was thinking. I have heard many women here say they don't buy clothes from TV because they can't touch and experience them. That's how I feel about all of these Christmas gift shows. Part of the fun of the holidays (for me) is getting out and shopping in beautifully decorated stores and having lunch with friends. Stop the madness!

Obviously the focus for all these shopping channels are the holidays...gifts..decor, etc.

I guess clothing is not a priority (for a change).

There could also be problems with shipping these items from there they are made. It happens.

Totally agree! This non stop Christmas programming is turning everybody off. I'm so close to tuning out until FEBRUARY!

Next Tuesday morning there is supposed to be a special "Designer vs. Diva" D&Co gift show (at the regular time, I believe). Carolyn will be on with Gary again.

Last Friday morning I heard Pat and Jayne talking about how they were officially kicking off the holiday shopping season on Q with their fashionably early show so I expect that many of the shows are going to be bumped in favor of gift ideas. Or the shows will stay the same but they will change the name.

In the Kitchen with David will be changed to Gifts for the Cook or something like that. LOL

You can't buy love but you can adopt it. Adopt, don't shop.

I don't look at the schedule, just turn to the channel if I'm bored to see what's on. I don't buy Q's fashions & doubt many are given as gifts.

Yesterday, as I rode the bus home from work I just sat there and enjoyed the lovely fall scenery on the 45-minute ride, then walked the mile from my house to my sister's house to check up on her and pack her lunch for today. It was so nice. Upon returning home, I plopped down on the couch and turned on PM style, to be greeted with the usual assortment, presented in front of that over-the-top silver and gold Christmas tree. I agree, it was a little jarring. Now there is an entire day of gifts that will immediately be re-gifted or turned over to charity, along with the "house ge gaws" (that really made me laugh, and I needed it).

Oh well. None of probably really needs anything, anyway.

I'm afraid HSN will not provide much escape as their sets are totally decked out for Christmas. Last weekend was the first of what I'm sure will be several Host Holiday Pick weekends. The stores are even in the process of getting dressed up over the next couple weeks for the holidays.

Unfortunately it is the nature of the retail business these days to capitalize on that all-important 4th quarter and to stimulate an early start to the busy holiday shopping season. Like others I'm sure, holiday catalogs started arriving in my mailbox right after Labor Day which is only shortly after the fall ones came in August.

I think all this Christmas programming has gone way too far! It isn't even Halloween & the sets are decorated with massive Christmas trees! I won't be buying any Christmas stuff this year-I have no where to put it! When you pre-empt Denim & Co with more Christmas stuff I think you are asking to lose money. I know QVC hopes you will leave the TV on and look anyway! I didn't even turn the TV on this morning!

I agree. Christmas shows before Halloween bugs me. Right now it's 80 out, can't get in the mood yet. I never really watch whole shows, I record them and fast forward. There won't be much to record until January. I like specific shows, not the miscellaneous host picks type of shows. Another poster made me laugh, said something about it's Christmas, here come the flashlights, ha, ha. Not that there's anything wrong with it (Seinfeld), ha, ha.

Gee, I can't wait for the January 25th Christmas in January shows - "only 335 days till Christmas 2014". QVC won't have to take down the decorations. Let's just have Christmas shows year around.

I'm already sick of Christmas and I haven't even purchased my Halloween candy yet.

Yes, I know the catalogs come out around Labor Day but seeing the constant shows is over the top, IMO.

I don't watch QVC that much - often switch to that channel during commercials. Seems like each time I do - IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!
