Audrey Graver ~ does anyone know the background on this?

Susan Graver always gives credit to her MIL as a co-designer. Does anyone know how this business relationship began? Was Audrey Graver a designer in her own right before Susan came along?

I'm just curious. I don't think Susan ever explained it.
