I have tried her things and think they are very pretty. I did make a sizing mistake the first time I ordered, I do need a Med in her thing vs. a Small. I like what I am seeing from her tho and I hope she brings in more new items.

i just caved and bought 5 pieces..... she has really modern, great looking clothing. i have bought some before, but she really brought in quite a bit. i am so tempted by a few more items and i want to browse her sale items. it is nice that she has her daughter modeling the clothing.

iman is also on today..... i may be doomed. LOL

So I am hearing her sizing is a bit off? Or is it only the pants?

Her things look great on all sizes......they do not make larger ladies look like they've just thrown a tent over themselves and the slimmer ladies look tailored and polished.....very classy things!! I"m contemplating the drawstring jacket....just not sure what size yet.

Her sizing is more like regular retail rather than Q's vanity sizing. Very pretty things!

Marla's collection looks like LOGO for big girls. I mean that is a very positive way in that her items have that relaxed carefree look, but a grown woman will have more wardrobe versatility with the pieces than she can get from most of LOGO.

I have many MW pieces. (I received 3 yesterday and order 3 more)

As for sizing, if you watch her presentations and/or read the descriptions, you will know how the piece runs. Most of her fabrics have "give" so tend to be forgiving. She had a blouse yesterday that she said had no give and she suggested you order up a size.

Who is Marla Wynne? Her prices seemed a little high, but I just may not know her name. A google search took me to a Miss Pennsylvania, but I don't think that's enough to get anyone a line of clothes! From the little I was able to see, they do look like items I would like.

I don't know what you mean by "enough to get a line of clothes...? " I guess she just has a knack for selecting great styles, chooses colors, fabrics, etc. However, they are obviously designed by someone who knows what they are doing. The two pieces that I own are great. You will not be disappointed.

No disrespect intended - There's a lot of beauty queens, and they don't all get a line of clothes. That's all I meant. I knew there had to be a better reason to go from point A (Miss PA many years ago) to point B (collection on HSN). And it may not even be the same person!! Anyways - how dumb am I?? Based on the link provided, she's been with HSN for FOUR years!! I really have to check that channel out more! I'm clearly missing out!

The Marla Wynne who was Miss Pa in 1990 is not the same Marla Wynne (Ginsberg) on HSN.

None taken! It was an honestly mistake considering the same/similar name.

As for beauty queens, I suppose they all head in different directions. Remember Vanessa Williams ....she has certainly done well for herself! Is it possible that she was Miss USA almost 30 years ago???{#emotions_dlg.crying}

I love Marla and have several of her pieces. She is a great designer and seems to really take care to design her clothes to look great on women of all sizes. I've been watching her since she first started presenting on HSN. As she's gotten more popular and brought in more inventory, not as many of her items are made in USA as were I the past, which is unfortunate.

sunshine45,

I bought that jacket last year in white and in black. (and wore both of them a lot)

I received 3 pieces today in slate blue but I am returning all of them. I am disappointed in the color. I expected blue but it is really dark gray. They look more appropriate for fall or winter. By then they will have been marked down to half price so I've already returned them. When they go on sale I'll consider re-purchasing.

Enjoy your items.

I like some of her designs and have been tempted to order, but keep sticking with JJill and Eileen Fisher. I may take the plunge when her fall collection debuts in August. Her pants are all too short for me, but some of her tops look very nice.

the jacket is spectacular.... i am so tempted to get another color ...... maybe black and white because they are such great basics.

sorry the color didnt work for you now..... i agree though that if it is more gray then it would be more appropriate for the autumn. i hope to see some things on sale so i can get some more at sale prices. i may go back and look at some of the sale items now.

thank you! Smile

I am a size medium in the real world. I purchased a neutral taupe-y colored round neck top long sleeve top with ruching at the bottom. A bit like Susan Graver's butterknit fabric, but as there is a bit of style to it, this would be something I'd wear to go out with friends (not work).

I absolutely love Marla Wynne's designs. Her pieces are modern, classic and so comfortable to wear. I just ordered the balloon dress in black and the green and love them. So easy to wear and travel with. I also ordered the matching button jacket and waiting on that. I think her prices are very reasonable for what you get. Keep them coming Marla.

I adore that jacket. I saw it presented, and it looks like excellent quality.

I have the balloon dress in black but returned the balloon dress and button jacket in blue slate.
