DIALOGUE?

Started 1356055270.363 in Fashion Talk | Last reply 1356149365.707 by wildcat fan

It looks like QVC is no longer offering their Dialogue line of clothes. Everything is on clearance. Too bad. {#emotions_dlg.unsure}

I found Dialogue to be the best line for classic affordable clothes for work. Great little jackets and nice slacks.

I really wish QVC would reconsider. Lately they seem to be relying so much on "designer" and celebrity lines...Isaac, Liz Claiborne, Kardashian, Jennifer Hudson, Lisa Rinner. While some of the clothes look cute, these are not "classic" clothes for a work wardrobe. Plus, from what I read of the reviews, so many of these items, while not inexpensive, ARE cheaply made.

I do like some of Susan Graver's clothes, but even she offers so many trendy clothes and very few basics.

QVC, PLEASE BRING BACK YOUR DIALOGUE LINE OF CLOTHES.

I loved the pants---Dialogue Essentials. I have not found one pair that I like other than these on the Q---and I have tried. Wish they would bring those back---and make the BLACK a black that does not fade to brownish black. Great fitting pants, and no bulky pockets. Sigh. Where are they, QVC? At least make a dupe.

The Dialogue was nice, because they had some trendy pieces that weren't too weird. I also miss DU JOUR..that line fit my lifestyle perfectly. I have resorted to JJill and Neimans clearance for most of my clothing needs now. Once in awhile, I find something at Nordstrom's...but I stick with just a handful of lines: Not Your Daughter's jeans (they make dress slacks too), Jag Jeans (also does cords), Eileen Fisher (great dresses and sweaters) and the rest I get at JJill for camisoles, linen tops, casual summer dresses.HTH....

Yes, I have lots of that brand and I never even worked. My friend was over today and saw a lot of my Dialogur jackets. She loved them. Now all the Q sells are D&Co. With a few pieces of Linea but not nearly enough Linea.

Dialogue made great classic and well-made clothes which were great for the workplace. The fit was fabulous and also had many jackets for the petites. Lately, even jackets and long sleeved tops for the regular are running too long in the sleeve length. If too long for the regular or average, then imagine how long for the petite.

Dialogue was awesome. It's such a shame that Q takes away everything I like. LOL! The last Dialogue piece I bought was a chocolate brown leather blazer. Beautiful. Well made. Fits perfectly. I know I will have it for years and years, b/c I really take care of my blazers and coats.

I think Dialogue the language of style as they used to say

was to prim and proper. It was good for a job environment but

not for a casual life-style.

One more vote for missing the Dialogue Pants....when I went back to work I bought this brand pants and wore them to death..I need a plus petite size and they were perfect. Wish they still carried them.

I still have a very nice black zip front lined jacket from Dialogue. It has a few subtle details at the bottom hem and on the sleeves. It can be worn as a light weight modern blazer or a light weight outerwear piece. It is still in great shape, and I reach for it frequently.

I found Dialogue to be hit and miss for me. I could not wear their pants, they never fit me. Too small in the waist and cut strangely. The quality on the other pieces was iffy.

I really miss Motto and DuJour. I liked both of those lines.

<br /> I loved one Dialogue pant design so much I bought it in three colors. I think the line had the potential to be a true classic, but for whatever reason, they started changing some of the designs and the fit became unpredictable for me.
