Janet M158 PostsJoined 8/10/2006Boston Do you find yourself buying the same item in multiple colors??? I have bought so many of the same item in different colors I think there is something wrong with me. Right now I am trying very hard not to buy the motto vest in two other colors. I already bought two colors and really want the othe two. They are in my basket and I know I will hit the buy button. I was just curious if there are others out there like myself who when you find something you like you have to have it in a lot of colors. Happy Holidays

Well, I find myself doing the same thing. Like the motto lace on the top shirt. I have that one in 2 colors (blue and yellow). I did that this season with sleeveless shells... just got tired of not having a color I needed, or having plenty of casual 'tanks' but very little sleeveless anything-else for dressier jackets, & so on. And I'm practically forced to do multiples in pants because I'm hard to fit. When (IF) I find classic tailored / dressy or casual pants I MUST buy in several colors -- at least the basics, though sometimes I'll splurge on brighter or trendier colors -- because I might never get another chance. I sometimes buy multiples of basics that fit and flatter me well, especially when the price drops on subsequent colors. Hard to pass up a great deal and something that really works! violann1355410692.8238803 PostsRegistered 12/12/2004 I NEVER do this, but I bought two of the BASSO TSV's, and I'm wondering if they'll be different enough to get away with. When I was working, I used to buy dozens of things in several different colors, especially if I really loved them. I went to work "in uniform", different colors of the exact same styles, for years. Don't want to do that any more. Kathleen1355411047.1539872 PostsRegistered 8/7/2006East Side, West Side, All Around The Town ... Rock_chick1355411087.47249 PostsRegistered 10/29/2007Central Texas depends on the item, more likely to get multiples of basics that I love. Once in a while will get a top in 2 colors if it is really speaking to me With hope and heart, Kathleen ♥ ♥ ♥

I can use those basic pieces in a variety of ways as understated 'building blocks" in different outfits. However, I don't buy multiples of striking, individualistic pieces that people will notice. I don't want a bunch of ruffled jackets or blouses with striking collars or trim in a rainbow of hues. Too repetitive. I did buy the other two colors in the motto vest I wanted and have been feeling bad about it. Now I will have 4 of the same vest just in different colors. I do the same with tees, boots etc... Nice to know I am not alone. Happy Holidays Krimpette1355413609.7277715 PostsRegistered 9/7/2007MidAtlantic I'm retired and love to wear Land's End half zip fleece shirts during the winter. I believe I have just about every color they offer (and they offer plenty!). Oh my, yes. I do that often. It's hard to find clothes that fit perfectly, are flattering and that I really enjoy. When I do, I often "stock up" by buying a different color or even the very same item (jeans, slacks). Oh, yes indeed. That's the way I shop. If something works for me, I'll buy it in several colors. When it comes to shoes and boots; if I find something that's perfect for me; I will buy two pairs in the same color. One for this year......and one for next year or the year after. fbm2lsm1355415712.0271890 PostsRegistered 8/25/2010 I do with pants and jeans , I am tall and when I find a good fit I stick with it. I have sevaral pairs of a Nine West kitten heel pump probably 5 or 6 in different colors.I wear them to work almost everyday. So like many of you if I find a good fit I stock up. This doesn't happen very often, since I am lucky to find one thing in my size/color at a screaming deal. Just as well, I don't need as many clothes as I have. I have a fall coloring, and there are not a lot of offerings in my colors. For example, black, white, cobalt, fuschia, and common QVC colors, are not flattering to my skin tone. hot pink, sunshine yellow, nectarine, flamingo, hemp, crimson, tortoise jewelry...happily anticipating these upcoming Linea colors! jmsmall1355417229.753963 PostsRegistered 7/10/2011 I buy the same style t-shirt for summer in different colors because I like the style and it's comfortable to wear when it's warm out but as far as winter clothes..no, I did that a couple of years ago with a half-zip long-sleeved top in 3 different colors. They were not from QVC however. I just remembered I also do it with knit slacks. Last edited on 12/13/2012 Rock_chick1355418320.677249 PostsRegistered 10/29/2007Central Texas and jeans for sure!! I usually don't even try another brand because I am so picky about the fit. I buy some and that's it, multiple washes and pairs too. With hope and heart, Kathleen ♥ ♥ ♥

If it fits correctly and feels good, then I order/buy two, three of the same color, usually neutrals. Some in the blue range to go with jeans, etc. I have bought two of the same hooded jackets and keep the extra one(s) in the trunk of my car. Never know when we will be stranded overnight somewhere. Yellow Rose I used to do it all the time, but now unless it's a basic item that I particularly like the fit & feel of, I try to have a selection of more varied things. The only exception is if I find tops that I love that come in completely different prints. insomniac1355420695.0175701 PostsRegistered 10/6/2004 I love Gildan's basic t-shirts for women.
