I buy pet products (much cheaper than in the store)! I ordered several pairs of clip on earrings for my MIL this Christmas. I also buy Denim & Co clothes, Sports Savvy, Dennis Basso & Bradley Bayou at greatly reduced prices. I buy pearls & silver from China and other gemstone jewelry from California (great bargains). I also sell my used clothes & purses on Ebay. I have never had a problem that Ebay could not solve!

QVC lists measurements, too, but I read over and over again the dissatisfaction by women who state the garments do not run true to "size".

I guess if you get a great deal on something you really have wanted, it would be worth the risk -- especially if you are resourceful enough to be an e-bay seller and turn around and sell the item if it doesn't work for you.

I order dozens of garments and never return anything because of fit. I always check the "click here" measurements. I think many customers still don't know they can check measurements.

everything. household products, books, dvds, clothes (name brand, new with tags), vintage holiday ornaments and collectibles, postcards & memorabilia from my home town, waterford, smith hawkens, crate & barrel, pottery barn, makeup, handbags, appliances, etc. etc. whatever i want, i look on the bay first. if it isn't there, i put in a search for notification when it is listed later--it almost always is.

Well for $24.95 and free shipping I just bought a gold sequin and lame

blazer to wear for New Year's Eve. The brand is Jones New York.

I've bought sheets and more sheets, pillow cases and quilts, Ralph Lauren all individually, one at a time. I was looking for a sheet to be replace the one that tore and then I found all the matching sheets, in all colors and didn't stop. Then the comforters came next and then material for valances and pillows etc. I think it is preferrable to buy one sheet at a time and I did save money, even over the discount stores. I've had all good experiences too. Also I bought art DVD's and saved, mu sic ones too. Designer blouses are good too. I find some cosmetics. eye brow pencils and stuff that takes time to go out and get. Skin oils and other items as well.

I love buy it now and free shipping, I really don't like to take the time to bid and wait.

Jan, you could go to the Amazon website and read reviews for all three of those - there are hundreds of reviews. Generally speaking, all of the Kitchen Aid hand mixers are highly regarded.

I don't know that there's an advantage to having extra speeds to choose from. I would look at the power of the mixers, especially if you use a mixer a lot.

About EBay, I buy old books there. Other good places to buy books: half.com and alibris.com.
