So what do you ladies think of a bold red coat? This is totally out of my comfort zone but for the price I paid for it I could not resist. Thanks!

I had a beautiful red coat when I was in my early 20s. Go for it. I love to see women wearing some color in their outerwear in the winter.

My current mid weight wool coat is a fingertip length swing coat (very sixties) in Barbie pink. I can not tell you the compliments I get on that coat.

Enjoy the red!!!

Thanks! Well ALL sleeves are long on me no matter what I do I am only 4'11" but not a super skinny gal to be able to fit in petite sizes cause they are cut to small overall.

I was going to go with this pretty blue it came in but that is so me and so safe, so I took a chance! Once I wear it some I think I will get used to it.... not used to wearing something that bright!

Barbie pink I dont know if I have ever seen a coat in that color! That is awrsome its different

I think everyone should have at least one red coat in their life time. I love red coats in the dead of winter with all dreary clouds and snow or rain and cold, and that red coat just brightens up the whole landscape and bespeaks warmth "way over yonder."

I love red coats too! I also have a cropped 3/4 sleeve length leather jacket and a maroon color suede jacket. I think you might be more comfortable if you accessorize with neutral or black/white gloves, hat, and scarf. I could picture a lovely houndstooth pattern in black/white for a timeless winter look.

I have a bold raspberry faux fur jacket. Purchased at Espress. Short with a hidden zipper. Love it. I get many, many compliments. People want to touch it too. Feels like the real deal.

I love red coats! I don't live in a cold climate but if I did, I would love a red wool coat.

I like red coats in the winter. They brighten up otherwise gloomy winter days.

I have a couple of red coats ... one knee-length leather, one 3/4 reversible fleece/waterproof, and two faux fur 3/4 length jackets (one dark red, the other pinkish red). Until last year, I had a red faille anorak with beige faux fur trim.

I think there's been some sort of red coat in my closet for the past 30 years.

My mother started me on red coats when I was a child ... red has always been a big part of my wardrobe. It's a good color for me.

I love red coats, but could never wear one. I wear black, hunter green or muted colors.

I love red coats. I would have a wool one if I lived in a cold climate. I have a red leather blazer and a 3/4 length red quilted coat that I wear all Winter. Also have a red slicker for rainy Winter days. I have always had at least one red jacket or coat in my closet.

I am sure you will enjoy your new red coat!

i have several!!! Red is one of my most favorite colors to wear.

I am particularly fond of black and white with red accents. Or anything in that combo.

I love them. I have a red ski jacket and used to have a red pea coat. I think I've always had at least one red coat! Very cheery.

I think you're either a red-coat-person or you're not. I'm not, but I think they look great on others.Smile

I have a red coat and love wearing it.

I tried being patient but it took too long.

I have a terrific Basso raincoat, really two coats in one. I love it! I wish he still did it. It's a quilted down filled princess style liner that can be worn as a coat on its own, a slicker style raincoat with a hood, and the two can be worn together as a storm coat.

Oh, I would love to find a light pink coat. I found a boiled wool mid length coat but not in my size. I am on the hunt as I think pink in the wintertime is a "10". I do wear my MK bright red coat in the winter.

I just got my sporty new red pea coat w/blk anchor buttons for 40% off! Not heavy enough for super deep cold, but good for 30-50 degree weather! Hope to wear it soon! The bolder the color for outer wear the higher the fashion statement! Rock your red!
