Sporto boots

Hi ladies, the southern channel is having a Sporto boot TS today and I was wondering if any of you own any of these boots and if so, do they run large/wide or on the small/narrow side? I'm interested in purchasing a pair and since they offer them in medium and wide widths, thought I would ask for opinions before purchasing. They're saying they run true to size, but I'm thinking with a medium sock it might make a difference. Thanks so much in advance..

Lynn :)

As I recall, I could wear M width but I would definitely prefer the wide. Enjoy them!

I don't own that particular boot but have owned a few pairs of Sporto in the past and I find they fit true to size.

I own three pairs of Sporto boots and I love them! I live in them pretty much in the winter and they all still look new. I don't care for the TSV though - I ordered them a few years ago and sent them back - they were too stiff for me. But Sports are warm and they hold up really, really well. The three pair I have are form last year and a few years ago and are really cute styles that they don't have anymore.

I have had a pair of Sporto boots for three year and love them. I have a medium width and can still wear socks and I wear a size 10

They run true to size for me.

I love the look of today's boot but I just don't need another pair. My winter boots are Sportos from probably 5 years ago but I really don't wear them that much that they need to be replaced.

I think HSN does this boot, or one very similar, every year.

I like Sporto and have several pairs of their boots. I think they run true to size, most styles I have tried on...I find that my regular size 9m fits me fine, but if you want to wear a thick sock with them you could go to a wide width. I would think in colder climates where the temps dip down into the teens or below, you would need to wear a thicker boot sock and in that case I would order a wide width. Otherwise with a regular weight sock I would go with a medium width.

I think Sportos have gotten more pricey lately, not sure what that is about however they really do last you forever. I have some boots that I purchased probably 10-12 years ago I still wear that look just as nice now as when they were new. They really don't wear out.

I ordered a Sporto boot from Kohl's last year with a similar shape and design. They carried the same boot on HSN at one point so I read their reviews. Seems like a lot of reviewers said to size up for that style-felt they were narrow and ran small. I usually wear a 9 but I ordered a 10 and they fit perfectly. I never have to size up in shoes. My foot is on the narrower side. Since this new TSV style is being offered in two widths, these might really run true to size. Just sharing my experience.

I have these exact boots that I bought as a TSV last season. They are true to size. I wear an 8 1/2 - 9M, usually going with 9M in boots so I can wear thick sock with them. Bought these in the 9M and they are perfect.

Love Sportos and have several pair. They truly are water PROOF and warm. I've had to wade through icy cold water in them when I am walking my dogs and they absolutely do not leak and they keep my feet warm.

I love my Sporto boots, I have the boots in winter white, and they are waterproof, and I live way up North in the big snow country, they are comfortable and cute. I wear a 10 but got an 11 because one foot is actually a 10 1/2 and they don't have that size. I love the TS today on HSN>

Check out some of the discount sites. I just got the sporto Sofia style from 6pm ($42) and LOVE them. True to size but I always go up 1/2 size so I can wear a thick sock.

Hi Debbie. I, too, go up 1/2 size. I find them to run small though. I don't wear heavy socks or I think I'd have to go up a whole size. Some of the Sportos run short--at least imo.

Hi Win, Thanks for the info. These were my first pair of Sporto so I wasn't sure about the size but going up 1/2 size seems to feel great even with a thicker sock. Even my husband said they look cuteCool

Debbie those are SOOO cute. I have 2 pairs of brown or I'd get them! The ones I have are kind of similar. You'll love them!

I have only one pair of Sporto boots, and they have definitely been around the block a few times...and then some. The ones that I have are true to size. Unless mfg. has changed, they are great boots and wear well.

I live in Florida and will probably never have use for the TS boots. That said, I want to try Sporto & am thinking about getting the Sporto Suede Clog with Trim - in Chestnut.

They have a faux fur trim have a fleece lining. I have never had fleece-lined shoes - would they be too warm for Florida in the winter?

They are $69.90 (not on sale), free S&H, 3 flex payments available & I have a surprise coupon from HSN - probably 10% off but a slight chance of 20 or 30% off. The coupon has me looking for things I want/need that have free S&H. I could use more shoes.

I have a pair from a few years ago. I use them for snow so probably only wear them 2 to 3 times a year. The are great and keep me from ruining my good boots. I think they are true to size.

Thanks so much ladies for all your replies. I wear a size 9 medium in most shoes unless they run narrow and have found most wide sizes swim on me even though I consider myself to have a wide foot. I also live in Florida, but am hoping to move to NC, so right now I probably wouldn't need a thick sock, but am thinking down the road to possibly accommodate a thicker one. Since these last so long I want to make the right choice and I really appreciate hearing all your opinions :)

What the heck is going on with Sporto this year?? I clicked through almost all the various styles from clogs to boots and one is too small, one is too big and there's one that has received excellent reviews and is just right.

I'm just so surprised there is such a variation from style to style.

Anyone watching the tracking on your Sportos?

I did not get the TS but I got the clogs I mentioned about & I think they will be delivered tomorrow. They are 3 only hours away. I can't wait!

...would it be a fashion faux pas to wear them when it is over 80 outside? lol.. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I love my Sporto clogs. They fit BUT - there is no extra space at all. These are my first Sportos & I'm not sure if they will stretch out a bit? Being suede, I would think they will. I thought about exchanging them for a larger size so I can wear socks with them but I realized I almost never wear socks no matter what the season is. I live in Florida. WWYD? Keep them or exchange?

I have been wearing Sporto boots for years. Love them and they last. Last year I stocked up at HSN and Famous Footwear.

I did try the other sporto brand (brillante) sp? that are a little dressier and made by Sporto sold on HSN and the toe box was a lot more narrow and they had to go back. Cute!

I find Sporto runs true to size but I always go up a half a size for socks and more room in the toe. Sometimes they don't make them in half sizes which I hate.

Must love dogs and cats
