Genie Bra, Ahh Bra

Started 1300444945.157 in Fashion Talk | Last reply 1334412021.877 by betteb

I hate bras! I'm 34D but buy 36 for comfort and I keep looking at these types of bras.

Do you like these bras? Is there something B&M available? I hate looking for bras too.

Thanks for your info.

The Ahh bra is wonderful. I am 58, size 12 and a 40 DD. I need to wear 2 for support. They are so thin it doesn't feel combersome. I like one regular (with or without underwires) and one racerback for the best support. So comfortable I don't even know I'm wearing a bra and the support - great for working out too. No straps diggin in either. Also much less expensive than the $50 bras I had to buy for the support and fit.

I like the Ahh Bra too - haven't tried the Genie. I'm also 34D and order small in the Ahh bras. Ive never worn 2 at a time - that much compression creates a uniboob on me and if I need that I'll use a sports bra. I agree that the racer back is more supportive. I do occasionally wear the ones with the underwire, but when I feel like I really need shaping and support I go back to a reg. bra in my correct size. (but only for a few hours)

You can find this type of bra in B&M stores but not the variety of colors and they are most likely in the sports section unless you are looking at Sassybax or Spanx, which are very expensive.

Ahhh bra is my full time bra. But do size up, I am a 38C and I am most comfortsble in a 3X, the band at the bottom does not have much give.

I'm interested in the Genie bra too after seeing the commercial. I have yet to find a bra that gives me all day comfort.

Hoping someone that owns a Genie can let us know if it's all that it promises.

I"m dying to read reviews on that Genie Bra! I sometimes wear the Ahh bra around the house, but not enough support really for my 40DD. Can you just get one Genie somewhere?

This is what i am wondering also. Is there a difference between the ahh bra and the genie bra. They sure look to the same to me. The gal on the infomericial Stella Richie use to be a host at HSN. The ahh bra and the genie bra look exactly alike. Also, the company that puts on the commercial is affliated with HSN.

Right now I'm happy to be reading these good results for the Ahh bra as the bra I'm now wearing is sticking me in the side!!! The top of the underwire came through - OUCH!

I've hesitated, but with these rec's, I may order from HSN. Are there better places to get them?

THANKS!

PS: The woman presenting the Genie has a bunch of other products on HSN.

Where do you find the Genie bra? Is the Ahh bra on HSN identical to the Ahh bra on the infomercial with Judy Crowell?

Rhondashear.com - and also ahhbra.com. HTH! I recently discovered them and after tying them have ordered multiples! Only nude, black and white are available on the second site, but Rhonda's site has the fashion colors as well as the neutrals. Happy Shopping!!

Does anyone know if they fit well for L&L (large and lovely) ladies?

I just saw an infomercial for something called the Stella Bra, looks like Ahhh to me.

michlady11300543405.1711493 PostsRegistered 7/31/2007SE Michigan

I just checked out the Stella bra and it looks just like the Genie bra and brought by the same company Tristar.

The pricing is different. For Stella, it's 3 bras for $30. Genie is 6 for $80. Price is with shipping.

I tried to find the Stella Bra online but can't find it. Does anyone have a web address to share? Thanks!

I am hoping that within the next few months that the Genie will be found at walmart; walmart has an "As Seen On TV" aisle in the store where you can find a lot of things you see on the infomercials.

For those of you that have the Ahh bra, how do you think this would fit the smaller busted women? Also, will the material offer "modesty" so that then you are in colder rooms, your headlights won't be at attention?

In a moment of insanity I ordered the GenieBra from the infomercial ( I have never ordered anything from an infomercial before), they have not come yet, but when they do I will post.

I too am fed up with the discomfort of underwire bras. I was psyched when I ordered, but the elation has now let up. During the order process they try to sell you a hundred items you don't need ("please just send me the bras") as well as additional inserts for extra support (made me lose confidence in my purchase). I hope it wasn't a huge mistake.

Are they playing a joke on women? Wearing two bras at once?? Isn't one bad enough? Why not just make one bra that's comfortable & fits well. Bet they're laughing all the way to the bank.

I think the Ahh Bra, Genie Bra and Stella Bra's are pretty much the same, the Ahh bra gives me no support and its pricey but its nice to wear around the house, but very thin with show through. I just saw the Genie Bra today on T.V. and when I was doing research on it I found reviews for the Stella Bra, which looks just the same but $19.99 for three bra's and then you can double your order for an additional $14.00. They try to sell you inserts and lace bra's too and change $19.00 in shipping for the upgrades, but it's still cheaper to give them a try, so I did. Living with my bra is a daily stuggle, I am a 40D and my bra hurts everyday, binding, straps, rolls and back fat. I'm so frustrated and want to design the perfect bra that has comfort, support, coverage, no show through, pretty and a fair cost, is that so much to ask? Good luck Ladies, I feel your pain.
