I know this has been discussed here before, but I don't know the discussion title so having difficulty tracking down that info.
I'm transferring from an LGL39C to the Samsung Galaxy (recent QVC TSV) & want to transfer my Contacts. Would also like to transfer a few apps that I have.
TIA for any help/advice you can share!

Just add your google account to the new phone. That's if your contacts were saved to google. If not then I don't know. All your app info and stuff will transfer over once you go into the play store, then my apps and you re-download them all. AGAIN, this is if you had google backup everything in the first place on the old phone which it usually does unless you told it not to.

You can also use Bluetooth to send the contacts from one phone to another.

@linnie07...the apps on your LGL39C will transfer automatically, so no worries there. If you've backed up your contacts to google, those will, too. I've never backed up my contacts to google for reasons I won't go into, but there is an easy, easy, easy way to transfer photos, contacts, music, messages, etc. I mean EASY.
Go to the Google Play store and download the app Mobile Content Transfer Wizard onto both phones. Once they're installed, open the apps on both phones, and follow the screen directions. It is so easy, that it is unreal. My contacts, photos, everything transferred in 20 seconds.
