Suggestions for setting up PC for 4th grader.................

I'm setting up a PC as a gift for a 9 yo girl. Need suggestions for programs both used at school and for fun also peripherals. Any teachers with academic ideas or parents with inputs? thanks

Most probably there would be a tech person in her school that could be a great help. If you can give the school a try, you may be able to get all that you need with one call.

You may want to buy a small wireless printer, and a small set of speakers, that plug in an outlet. I hope this young child has good internet service.

I would contact the girl's teacher about programs used at her school, as there is no national standard.
