You have a notification of some type...a text, missed call, voice mail...something...

Here are some guides that will help you. I can never get links to post correctly using the link function, so you will have to copy and paste the links in your browser address bar. The first link is an online tutorial, and the second link is the online instruction book:

I didn't see anything in the tutorial about a flashing"home" button.

I have no phone calls or messages, either.

What color is the light?

Copy this link in your browser, and scroll down to see the different colors and what they mean. Could be that an app has updated.

I don't think my home button does anything except green. I finally figured it out. I had checked on missed calls and messages and had none, but it turned out to be an email.

I wasn't used to even checking for emails as my old phone was a pretty dumb one .

Once you hit that button and get on your home page, you go to the top of the screen and kind of swipe your finger down the screen - any notifications will come up then.

While I'm on here, has anyone tried to send a picture through text messaging? I was always able to send them on a regular tracfone. Last year I upgraded to a Samsung Smart Tracfone and that's when the trouble started. I can upload to facebook, but if I attach it to a text message it just gets stuck in a sending mode. So I upgraded again to QVCs LG TSV and the same thing happens. I did call tracfone but they were no help. Obviously two phones and there's still a problem so it can't be the phone. Was just wondering if anyone was able to do this.

gojo - I found that the only way I can get a picture through is by switching on the data (3G). It wouldn't work, when I had it on wireless only. Not sure if that's the same problem you're having, but it's worth a try. Same thing when a friend tried to send some pictures to me; wouldn't work till I switched data on.

Thank you Venezia! I am going to try that. I don't have to do it often, but it's nice to know I could if I wanted to. I'll let you know if it works!
