I really like the Griffin Survivor cases I bought at Amazon. My middle school students have dropped my iPad minis a few times, but they've been protected inside these cases.

Go to the Otter website, Amazon and Apple, look through their choices. I saw some with set ups just for kids and with screen protectors that will not allow screen shatter when dropped from four feet
