Well, that little experiment saved me some money, no I Pad for me

Our doctor's office had a flu shot clinic. As part of this promotion, they had someone standing there with an I Pad to let you register for free Packer tickets. I swear it took me 10 minutes to fill out my name and address and phone on that thing. I'll never buy one now, I need the full keyboard.

Hmm....an iPad DOES have a full keyboard.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

You would get used it eventually. But you can buy an external keyboard, if that's what you want. you just sync it to the ipad and you're done.

I think just about all tablets have the touch keyboards. You can buy regular keyboards to use with them if you want. You would probably get used to it though.

It's not for me either - too small and the whole typing on an on-screen keyboard thing. I'm very happy with my laptops! Smiley Happy

You can get a regular keyboard. They're very nice when you don't want to use the touch screen.

My mom uses an external keyboard and finds it much easier. I've had the iPhone for so long now that I find typing on the virtual keyboard to be pretty quick, but it definitely takes getting used it. I bought that Le Pan mini tablet over the summer and use it to takes notes in meetings, no external keyboard necessary.

I rarely use my laptop since getting my iPad. It's benn almost two years. Don't need a physical keyboard. I use my iPad to control my Roku as a remote too.

Right now I'm typing on a 7 "" tablet with error correction. The more you use these devices the easier it gets.
