Problem with Oyster book service free for 6 months!

Bought the Acer tablet tsv. It came with tech support (which I've seen threads about the terrible long wait) and it came with supposedly 6 months free Oyster book service. My husband did the signing up for this. He says they took certain information without any place to type in the code for the free 6 months service. It went directly to the credit card information. Then it turns out that it's only ONE month free. Thereafter it is $9.95 a month charged to your credit card.

DH has emailed them about this and of course so far, no reply.

Has anyone else out there who bought this tablet had a similar experience??

We will try emailing again. I plan to call customer service at Q to ask about this too.

This offer has probably expired, and the current one is for a month. Most free trials require a CC. Amazon has a unlimited book service for $9.95. I would go to Oyster Books and cancel my account today. Make a hard copy of the email you receive, and contact your CC if you get charged next month.
