I bought an LG 32 inch tv after much researching and I'm not crazy about it but I'll keep it. Does anyone know how I can adjust the screen so that the heads of people aren't cut off and scrolling of information on the bottom of the screen is not cut off as well? Thanks.

There is a button that zooms in and out and makes the picture different sizes. I think it is called "aspect" as I'm not home to look at ours.

You can push that button to make your picture the right size.

I don't have that tv, but I'm wondering if your tv is connected to cable? With Comcast, there are settings that adjust the placement of the picture.

The aspect button at the bottom right of your cable remote will adjust this for you.

I think its the format button on the DirecTV remote.

Could be either your cable/satellite setting or you TV set. Their is a format setting for both, usually on the remote controls. The TV you can go into the menu/display, and choose the setting there also. I have mine set on 16x9 as that is the one used for High Definition programming.

Have you read the Owners Manual on both components, TV/cable/satellite? Usually they contain how to get to and use these settings. I have Dish and several different brands of TV. All of them have Owners Manuals and each one of them has information on these settings.
