Shockwave Flash?

Started 1368509362.31 in Electronics Talk | Last reply 1368767634.41 by kismet

Just tried to sign on to a site and keep getting a message that Shockwave Flash is not working or is busy. I had this message a few weeks ago and it's back. Using Firefox.

I usually have to Ctrl ALT, Delte and stop task. Even after doing this I still couldn't sign in. It's happened on webpages but never on a sign in page. It says it's a plugin. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

In firefox ...

Click on Tools in the Top menu ...

Then Click on Add-ons

When that screen opens ... click on plugins on the left hand side.

On the top of the list there is a line that you can click on that reads Check to see if your plugins are up to date.

If they are not firefox will give you the link to fix them.

My flash player crashed after posting. I took out adobe flash player and then reinstalled it. Seems to be working again. Didn't know about a reset button on firefox. Glad to find out about that.

After searching firefox I noticed that others had the same problem about the same time. Glad to know that it wasn't just my computer.

I went into the plugins before I posted and didn't see any problem there. Just hope this doesn't come back.
