Please, I need help with my Tracfone LG800G: It won't turn on.......

I used it today and it was fine. When I came home I charged the battery since it was low.

After fully charging, it will not turn on. The screen remains BLACK when I push the power button. I have until January 3lst to return it, but it has all my contacts in it now.

Can anyone advise me what to do now? I don't really want to return it and start over.

Try taking out the battery and putting it back in to see if that works. If that does not work hold the power button down for about 39 seconds and see if it recycles itself

IslandGirl7 and Loves2save, Bless you both! It works now. I took out the battery and replaced it right away. Than I held down the power button for about 39 seconds and it turned on.

What do think caused the problem? And will it happen often, as far as you know?

Thank you, thank you so much. I'm so glad you were there for me and you helped me so quickly.

P.S. I did call customer care and their "office" is closed right now.

I returned that Tracfone because I consistently had trouble with it. Went back to my old Tracfone - doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it works for me!

age 79, sensitive/combo skin, few fine lines, lack of firmness especially to cheeks, short natural (never colored) grey hair, brown eyes

Happens within even the best of phones that is always a tip that state to try and usually works with taking out the battery and then putting back in. I don,t think you need to worry about anything it does happen a lot with phones Last edited on 1/23/2013 Last edited on 1/23/2013
