Need a Windows 7 laptop

Hi folks...new here.

I'm needing to purchase a new laptop that has Windows 7 installed. I have a program that has not been certified for Win 8, and quite honestly, I don't want anything to do with Win 8 until MS gets it together.

Can anyone make a recommendation for a good laptop...I3 processor...with Win 7

Thanks - Mobirdman

Sony has some that still have Win 7. I was shopping their website last week and grabbede one with Win 7 and third gen I5. I'm pretty sure they also had some with I3.

Like you, I am not ready to deal with Win 8 and that's why I was looking around figuring I'd get one more Win 7 laptop before they were obsolete.

Dell is still selling Window 7 computers in their Small Business and Home Office site. I will recommend to you a Latitude Laptop. http://www.dell.com/content/topics/segtopic.aspx/landing/latitude-laptops?c=us&cs=ussoho1&l=en&s=soho&~ck=mn

<br /> The only problem is that you're just going to pay more if you buy a computer from a shopping network. I know some folks are willing to pay a couple hundred more to get ezpay (not sure why that would make sense to anyone, but I digress...), but you can also get interest-free payments from manufacturer websites. I got a 12 month interest-free deal with my purchase. Of course, I'll pay it off much sooner, but I like having that cushion just in case.

I've seen some pretty good deals on QVC (closeouts) but you're right...especially SNBC.

Very true. Another thing is that they bundle the computer with a lot of useless software which further jacks up the price.

Classic example is the Acer Chromebook Albany is pushing and they are showing tonight. EVERYWHERE has it for 199 dollars, but they added in 100 dollar zinio card and make it seem like you are getting it for free. So they are asking 299 and 289. WHy anyone would pay that amount is beyond me.
