Dooney florentine bristol satchel opinion please how you like the bag

I love the Florentine Bristol Satchel, ivyshop! I have the Chestnut and Violet and they are beautiful. The Bristol is a very classic handbag. While I consider it medium-sized, it's just slightly larger than the similar TSV satchel and that extra inch or two made a difference for me with fitting my items inside. I am actually really loving my Bristol in Chestnut. At first, I wanted it to be a little bit larger - just for more presence - but now that isn't bothering me so much. It definitely has plenty of room inside. I was in Beverly Hills recently, and thought it held it's own up against all the Louis Vuitton's! I actually have a brand new Kate Spade handbag that I need to use, but don't want to change out from the Bristol.

This is my favorite D&B bag! I have four...two for summer, two for winter.

I'm a college prof so I always carry so much, including a stapler, extra pens, aspirin, etc! LOL Lots of weight, but this bag handles everything beautifully!

I love the bone color; its like vanilla rather than bone....gorgeous!

Another for the Bristol. I have the ocean blue and the violet. Perfect size and style if you like a satchel handbag with lots of room inside. Love the color combo you picked, and that's a great price. Just be careful with Florentine leather and dark clothing, like jeans. Sometimes the dye transfers from the dark clothing onto the lighter colors of Florentine leather.... usually not a problem if you carry the handbag in your hand. It seems to be more of an issue if the bag is worn against the body.
