Charlotte vs. small Lexington

I have been drooling over dooney a for quite sometime but have yet to make the plunge (splurge)! I've been looking at the Charlotte and the Lexington and I am undecided between the two. Normally I am a small purse kinda girl and prefer a crossbody, but I love to carry canvas bags when I go away on short trips to carry my iPad and magazines/ books. Which bag is smaller? The Lexington looks slightly smaller but when I look at dimensions it seems bigger than the Chelsea. ( I am looking at the saffiano Chelsea). I do also like the two tone with the strap being a different color than the bag, so I am leaning towards the Lexi in the dark gray. Any info on the difference between the two would help. ( I have seen a picture of the tsv for November and like that too). Decisions, decisions! Thanks Deb
