Toledo Leather - Water Spots?

OK girls you may or may not remember I got the Toledo mail satchel in the turquoise. I got caught in a VERY light rain shower earlier tonight and was horrified to see water spots on my bag. Even after it has had ample time to dry if you look really hard you can still see several of them. I am worried now that if I keep this bag it will eventually look awful. Has anyone else had this experience?

I have a florentine messenger flap bag in the olive that got caught in rain and there's more spots on it then a leopard has on it's back, lol. I haven't tried to get them off, but I think a good leather cleaner (which I don't have at the moment) will do the trick. At least I hope so.
